Cub Leader Position-Specific Training

An overview of the Cub Scout program and training on how to perform your job.  Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Den leaders and assistants get the information and tools needed to conduct successful den meetings.  Cubmasters are provided with informaiton and tools needed to plan and conduct a successful pack program. The Pack Committee training provides guidance on how to give the support needed by the Cubmaster and Den Leaders to deliver a high-quality Cub Scout experience.

*Cub Scout leaders who complete this training, along with Youth Protection training, are considered “trained.”

Outdoor Skills Trainings:

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation: One-day training that introduces leaders to the skills needed to plan and conduct Pack outdoor activities and camping. One BALOO trained leader is required to be present on any Pack family camping overnight camping.  With the exception of family camping at Council events, ALL Pack Family Camping requires one adult certified in BALOO.

Outdoor Leader Skills for Webelos Leaders:  To help Webelos leaders enhance their outdoor program. Not required for Webelos dens to camp or do outdoor activities.
