Endowment Giving

  • The endowment fund was established to build a stable funding base for the next 100 years of Scouting in our council. Endowment gifts can include cash, stocks, bonds, real property, trusts, pooled-income funds, gift annuities, and life insurance policies.
  • Consider a planned gift.  Planned giving encompasses a variety of ways to create a gift to Scouting using accumulated resources. Although planned giving usually involves financial or estate planning, it is not reserved for the wealthy. Planned giving is for anyone concerned with the wise use of his or her personal resources and provides the opportunity to make a considered choice about their ultimate disposition.  Contact us for more information on how you can include the Trapper Trails Council in you planned giving
  • Donated today!  James E West was the first Chief Scout Executive of the Boy Scouts of America.  In his honor a recognition has been established for all donors who make a $1,000 contribution or more  to the endowment fund.  This recognition includes a knot to wear on your uniform and a plaque. Click here to download the James E West Fellowship application.
