Camp Kiesel is a magical place nestled at the bottom of a steep canyon about 25 miles east of Ogden, Utah. For 90 years, Camp Kiesel has served Scouting youth and adults!

Lodges & Buildings
Kiesel’s lodge is the showpiece facility for the camp. It seats up to 90 people and is available for year-round use. The lodge boasts a small commercial kitchen with a tilt skillet and convection ovens. Next to the lodge is a multipurpose room used for trainings and small groups. Camp Kiesel boasts 11 dorm rooms; each has 4 bunkbeds (sleeps 8), electricity and a propane heater. Indoor restroom and showers are located between the dorm rooms and training center.

Primitive camping is available on Camp Kiesel’s lawns. Groups can camp outside the lodge, or near the fort along the creek that flows from Wheatgrass Canyon. The camp features one campfire bowl with amphitheater-style seating. Folks are sure to enjoy the natural beauty of Camp Kiesel

The Trapper Trails Council and the Boy Scouts of America require all organizations and individuals using/ renting facilities to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Trapper Trails Council and the Boy Scouts of America as an “Additional Insured”. Current requirements are listed in the Facility Use Agreement.
